Yeah, I know I haven’t posted much lately, but it’s not because I haven’t been keeping up with our Cubbies!
In honor of our success of late and the return to the .500 line, I believe I will tip back an ice cold Budweiser in Harry’s honor tonight.

Apparently the Cubs decided to send “Likes to Fight Guy” to the Padres.
Great…maybe he’ll beat up Greg Maddux instead of the Cryin’ Mayan.
If you turn your ear toward Boston, you can actually hear the sound of thousands of assholes puckering.
The Yankees are coming on strong!

OK, I’ll take the blame for last night. In the eighth inning with the bases full of Cubs and no outs, I uttered, “I’m glad the Cubs are gonna beat these cheatin’ Braves bastards.”
It’s not that I’m disappointed that we blew the game. I’m getting used to that. But karmically, I’ve got to learn not to jinx them.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. (But we’re still losing the race…)
